Chair of the Day – Nest Chair by Charles Brill
The “NEST CHAIR” designed by Charles Brill won the 2006 Wilsonart Laminate Chip Chair Competition. This chair is constructed mainly of Laminated Wilsonart Strips and is available by special order. I wouldn’t buy but I like the idea of it… what do you think?

Omer Arbel was born in Jerusalem but grew up in Vancouver, British Columbia and trained under the architects Enric Miralles (Barcelona) and John and Patricia Patkau (Vancouver). I am a fan of his interiors work as well so check out his website.

Huub Ubbens is a wonderfully talented designer, a LOVELY person and a great teacher. I had the privilege to study under him at Scuola Politecnica di Design during my masters program and learned a great deal about furniture design. This chair, Kadrega, is one of the many great designs by Ubbens. Ubbens has worked with many world famous designers such as Michele de Lucchi. IM A FAN!
